CHURCH SERVICES

In the Methodist Church tomorrow morning the study will be "The Threefold Nature of Salvation." while in the evening the subject is "All Things Are Possible If .• J” The preacher at both services will be the Rev Frederick J. Parker. Tn the afternoon at 3 o'clock a great gathering of the Bible Class young people from all over the Wairarapa is expected for the annual thanksgiving service. Al the close of the evening service the Sacrpment of the Lord's Supper will be administered. At the Kuripuni Methodist Church tomorrow the morning service will be in charge of the Bible Class mission band. In the evening at 6.50 o'clock cars will leave for the Town Church. At Wangaehu tomorrow the time of the Methodist service has been alter-' ed to 2 p.m. and the Rev Fred W. Parker will conduct the service. Members of the Legion of Frontiersmen, R.S.A. and Scouts will hold a church parade at St. Matthew’s Church at 11 a.m. tomorrow to mark the 25th anniversary of the Great War. The Vicar will be the preacher both morning and evening. The usual services will be held at Kuripuni and Taueru. The services at the Salvation Army tomorrow will be conducted by Major and Mrs Mahaffie. At the morning service the Major will take for his subject "Christian Dccipleship," and in the evening "The Power of the Cross in Christian Experience.” All are heartily invited to the Army’s services. The service of the Baptist Fellowship tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev E. Nicholls, who is coming from Wanganui to take this service. Mr Nicholls is the pastor of the Ingestre Street Church and is a bright and forceful speaker. An invitation is extended lo attend the fellowship meeting at 11 a.m. in the Y.M.C.A. Hall. Church Street, and visitors are assured of a happy time and a warm welcome. The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper will be held at the close of the service. .
