DOMINION MONARCH
CHANGE OF ITINERARY.
The Shaw. Savill and Albion Co Ltd announce the “Dominion Monarch” departed from Southampton yesterday. August 4, in lieu of Thursday, August 3. as previously mentioned, and the vessel’s programme is, therefore, amended by one day throughout. In order to improve the attractiveness of the voyage, it has been decided to substitute Madeira as a port of call both outward and homewards in lieu of Teneriffe. Madeira is one of the tourist resorts handy to England and is renowned for its temperate climate. The following is the amended itinerary from England: Left Southampton noon yesterday, Friday August 4; leave Madeira 4 p.m. Monday, August 7; arrive Cape Town Thursday, August 1, depart noon, Friday. August 18; Lav. Durban, Sunday, August 20; leave Fremantle. Wednesday, August 30; leave Melbourne, Sunday. September 3; leave Sydney, Tuesday, September 5: arrive Wellington 2 p.m., Friday, September 8. In view of the delayed de-1 parture from the United Kingdom it has been agreed that the departure from Auckland for the United Kingdom of the Dominion Monarch will be put back one day, and the present time of departure is Wednesday, October 4. It is anticipated that the tentative ports of call in New Zealand will be Wellington, Lyttelton, Napier, Auckland.
