(Received This Day, 12.45 p.m.) LONDON, August 3. “The Times” Beirut correspondent states that an extensive illegal arms trade, allegedly under the protection of high Lebanese officials, with the cooperation of foreign elements, is believed to have been unearthed by the discovery of arms and ammunition in a house in Beirut.
