Mr and Mrs J. C. Bidwill, Featherston, are visitors to Wellington. Mrs J. Evans, of Petone, has returned home after a visit to Masterton.

Miss N. Caldwell is visiting her mother. Mrs J. A. Caldwell. Hessey Street Masterion.

Miss B. Hanley, Hastings, is the guest of her grandmother, Mrs Hanley, Perry Street, Masterton.

Miss Nancy Gillespie, Wellington, is staying with Mrs Jack Matthews, Ratanui, Featherston.

Mr and Mrs F. Purcell, of Wellington, are visitors to Masterton and are staying at the Empire Hotel. Miss M. Pither, Masterton, is visiting Wellington, where she is the guest of Mrs H. H. Miller, Island Bay.

Mrs Edgar Holmwood, of Whangarei and formerly of Masterton, is on a visit to Mrs J. W. Bird, Renall Street.

The many friends of Mrs J. M. Coradine. of Masterton, who has been seriously ill. will be pleased to learn that she is improving in health. Mrs C. Savage, Masterton, who was a visitor to Wellington to meet the Wanganella, returned home on Wednesday.

Miss Zona Stevens, Pahiatua, has left for Pukerua Bay, Wellington, where she is relieving on the school staff.

Mrs E. J. Brown, of Masterton, who has been visiting her sister-in-law, Mrs Godfrey Taylor, Pahiatua. returned home yesterday. Mrs A. J. Churchouse, “Kaikatea,” Te Ore Ore, has returned after an extended visit to the Bush District where she was the guest of her four sons, Messrs Victor, Rangi, Bernard and Claude Churchouse.

Miss Joyce Reynolds, daughter of Mr and Mrs A. W. Reynolds, of Masterton, has received advice that she has passed portion of the examination of the Library Association, London. She is an ex-pupil of the Wairarapa College.
