"FISHERMAN’S WHARF” SHOWING TOMORROW. ■’'The Great Man Votes" and "Pardon Our Nerve" will be shown finally at the State Theatre tonight. "FISHERMAN’S WHARF." A dramatic story of a great father-and-son fellowship, through which is stitched fine threads of comedy and romance is Bobby Breen’s new starring film. "Fisherman’s Wharf." showing at the State Theatre tomorrow evening. For the first time in his career. Bobby has an opportunity to play a rough, tough, thoroughly all-American youngster, as adopt with his fists as he Is with his voice. With a seal as his pet,

and a melting-pot gang of Chinese Italian and American youngsters as playmates, the singing star has ample opportunity to demonstrate his boyish qualities. The plot concerns Bobby's efforts to stick by his father in spite of the intrusion into the household of an aunt and cousin who do their best to wreck the father’s palship for his adopted son. "Slicker,” the famous screen seal, reputed the most valuable animal performer in Hollywood, plays an important part in the unfolding of the plot. As Bobby's constant companion, the seal was paid a salary of 1000 a week, an all-time high for mammal screen performers! Unusually strong is the cast of "Fisherman's Wharf,” with Leo Carrillo as Bobby’s father, Henry Annetta as Bobby's close friend, Lee Patrick, Tommy Bupp. Rosina Galli and others.
