PRECAUTIONS IN AUSTRALIA. AGAINST ESPIONAGE & SABOTAGE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. CANBERRA. August 2. The Commonwealth Government has taken safeguarding steps against espionage and sabotage regarding Australian defence activities by insisting that in all contracts no foreign workmen shall be employed in construction, munitions supply, or defence works, and also that no persons of direct foreign extraction shall be permitted tc obtain employment in any munition establishments.
