AN UNKNOWN CHILD
TO PLAY SCREEN ROLE. Peggy Ann Garner, six-year-old Los Angeles youngster unknown to the screen, plays the role of Carole Lorn bard’s daughter in “Memory cf Love.' new RKO-Radio major production jus completed with Miss Lombard, Car} Grant and Kay Francis in stellar roles. The little girl was selected after more than 100 children had been tested bj the casting office. Despite her inexperience, Peggy Ann's natural charrr and her reaction to screen tests convinced studio officials that she would fit perfectly into the important film role, and previews of the production have justified their faith in the youngster’s ability.
