FIRE BRIGADES
ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE AND DEMONSTRATION. PLANS FOR NEXT YEAR. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Permission for the holding of the United Fire Brigades' Assocition conference and demonstration in connection with the Centennial celebrations at Petone next year has been notified by the Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr Parry) to Mr T. J. Watts, secretary of the association. The date has not boon fixed, but it is expected that it will be in March. The conference will last for two or three days and the demonstration for the remainder of a week.
