The roads in East Prussia have been widened and repaired. The road to Poland has been obstructed, with the inclusion of tank traps. DANZIG ISSUE I DETERMINATION TO RESIST ,FORCE. BRITAIN PREPARED TO ACT - SWIFTLY. (Received This Day, 1.15 p.m.) LONDON. July 31. I “The Timos" in a leader, says: "If Danzig is not an immediate danger 'spot it is because the Government has made the British position most clear. If an attempt is made to solve the problem by force it will be resisted. Britain possesses both the force and the resolution to resist. Britain is ready for anything and knows what emergency will require action, and if it ccme-s she will net swiftly."
