BRIDGE PARTY

BOWLING CLUB GATHERING. A most enjoyable bridge party was held by the Masterton Bowling Club in the Y.M.C.A. rooms last night. There was a good attendance in spite of the un f a von ra b 1 e weather. Mrs Owen Jones won the ladies prize and Mrs F. H. Dunderdale the consolation while the men’s first prize went to Mr G. Hayne and the consolation to Mr Charleson. Mr Hayne thanked those present for their attendance and stated that another card evening would be held on the last Monday in August. Supper was served by a ladies’ committee.
