ORDER OF FORESTERS

LOYAL ENTERPRISE LODGE. MEETING IN MASTERTON. The fortnightly meeting of Court Loyal Enterprise, A.0.F., was held last evening. Bro H. C. Stewart presided over a fair attendance. Bro Sharman reported that he had visited the sick brethren and that all were progressing favourably. Bro Barr reported on the annual meeting of the Hospital Association. The secretary read a letter from the district secretary advising that the executive officers would visit Masterton on Saturday, September 2. and that he was arranging for the officers and members of the Wairarapa courts to assemble here and hoped to see a good muster. An invitation was received from Court Pioneer, Tinui, for two members and partners to attend the annual ball. Bros Stewart and Crocker will represent the lodge. During the evening one candidate was initiated into the Order and was presented with an identification badge and book of rules by Bro H. E. Gardner. A hearty welcome was extended to a visiting brother from Court Makakahi, Eketahuna. Sick pay and accounts amounting to £l2 15s'were passed for payment. At the conclusion of business two teams of indoor bowlers accepted an invitation from Loyal Masterton Lodge 1.0.0. F. M.U., to join in a friendly game and a very enjoyable time was spent, resulting in the honours being about even. At the conclusion a very tasty supper was provided by the ladies.
