Unofficial estimates of tlie militarisation of Danzig' place the number of Nazis under arms in the city at 25,000. The total in the whole Free City area of 475 square miles, containing’ towns and villages, is 00,000. Because of Nazi hindrances and obstructions, Polish Customs officials are finding it most difficult to supervise imports into Danzig, resulting in heavy loss to Poland. Diplomatic circles declare that Poland must take action if the activities of Storm Troopers on the wharves arc not stopped. Unless this is done soon, Danzig will become completely N a z i fi e d.
