Major Rossi loft Istros at 4.56 a.m. j in an attempt to break the world speed- , record for loaded aeroplanes over a 10 000 kilometre close circuit and also, the distance record for a closed eir-l cuit. Ho was to have flown via Paris,! Istres, and Bastia.
