LADIES’ COMPETITIONS.

The following is the draw for the final round of bogey competition and the fourth round of the Challenge Cup to be played by the ladies at Greytown on Saturday:— Seniors and intermediates: Miss Nix v. Miss E. Gregor at 12.30 p.m.; Mrs Balfour v. Mrs Ward 12.33; Mrs Gold v. Mrs Maddison 12.36; Mrs Gregor v. Miss Eccles 12.39; Mrs Thompson v. Mrs Jury 12.42; Miss J. Feast v. Firs Ross 12.45; Mrs G. Ingley v. Miss M. Collier 12.48; Mrs R. Ingley v. Miss R. Collier 12.51; Miss B. Gregor v. Mrs C. Ingley 12.54; Mrs Horner v. another 12.57.
Juniors: To play first round for club trophy, best two rounds out of three (11 holes commencing from No. 5 tee): Miss Askew v. Miss P. Tully at 12.40; Miss Stevens v. Miss Wiggins 12.45; Mrs Du'nnct v. Mrs Wiggins 12.50; Mrs Nicholson v. Miss Skeet 12.55.
Papawai Gathering
The thanks of the Papawai Pah Committee are due to the following donors for their efforts towards making the function on Sunday such a pronounced success: —W.F.C.A. and W. H. Day Ltd., tinned fruit; H. W. Horton and A. Svenson, meat; Canning Factory, pickles and soups; Fruit Company and W. A. Tate, apples; W. A. Yardley and Co., and W.
