INTOXICATED MOTORISTS
A FINE OF £l5. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NAPIER. July 24. _ After a freedom from cases of this nature for more than four months. Lawrence Arthur Meads. Havelock North, was convicted in the Magistrates’ Court Napier, today, of having been intoxicated in charge of a motor vehicle in Hastings Street. Napier, on July 16. Meads was fined £1.7 and is driving licence was suspended for six months. A WELLINGTON CASE. WELLINGTON. This Day. Pleading guilty to a charge of having been intoxicated while in charge of a car in Thane Road, on July 22. Albert Victor Gordon, clerk, aged 33, was fined £25 by Mr J. L. Stout, S.M.. in the Magistrates’ Court. Wellington, yesterday. His driving licence was cancelled for 18 months.
