Within the next year 500 Flight Mechanics and Riggers will be enlisted in batches of 50 or 100, and will be posted to Air Force Stations for training. A large number of recruits in other trades will also be enlisted during the next 12 months. Initial period of service will be for 8 years Regular and 4 years Reserve. Applicants must be: — (1) Single. (2) Between the ages of 18 and 25 years. (3) Passed the Sixth Standard. (4) Able to pass the necessary medical examination. 15) To have some trade-experience.
