AUCTIONEERS' NOTE—This herd was first founded with high-producing Ayrshires, and in recent years pedigree • Jersey bulls as well as Ayrshires have been used. The cows have been tested continually for 20 years, and only the best heifer calves retained for replacement purposes. With the use of good bulls, together with herd-testing and heavy culling, the herd today is one of the best in the district, and this sale should be of particular interest to dairymen.
