PRICES IN WELLINGTON.

Hide buyers did not operate at the sale held yesterday by the Wellington brokers. d'-
Sheepskins: An offering of approximately the usual quantity was brought forward. A good clearance was effected at prices which were fully firm on last sale’s rates for full-woolled soundpelted lines and jd to Ad a lb. lower for pelts and short wools, also damaged and seedy lines. Tallow: A small offering was submitted and prices showed little change. The range of prices is as follows: —
Dry sheepskins: Halfbred, 63d to 9;’d; fine crossbred, 63d to 9jd; medium crossbred, 6Ad to 9id; coarse crossbred, 63d to 9,1 d; half wools, 5d to 83d; quarter wools, 4d to 6zd; pelts, 2d to 4d. Salted skins: Half wools, to 3s 6d; three-quarter wools, 4s 3d to 4s 6d; full wools to ss; lambs, to 2s 6d.«
