Vancouver. —While moose usually flee at the approach of man, one enraged animal recently derailed a section car on the Canadian National Railway in the Prince George sector. The animal was running between the rails but when overtaken by the mo-tor-driven section car, it turned and charged instead of jumping into the snow. The animal overturned the speeder, throwing the crew along the track. It. however, was satisfied with the damage accomplished and continued its way without injuring the men.
The Wairarapa Paper Chase Club will hold a point-to-point steeplechase at Mr C. H. Perry’s property tomorrow.
