At the wool sales, 8,206 bales were offered, including 5,411 from New Zealand and 6,591 were sold. There was a moderate selection, consisting chiefly of New Zealand crossbreds. The demand was keen for suitable wools, the Home trade being the main operators. Values generally were well maintained. Slipes and inferior grades were frequently withdrawn owing to firm limits.
