Metal had been graded in, watertables cleared and general maintenance work done on Ponatahi. M ;, i_ Longbush and To Hopi roads. Sli —• wee cleared on the Admiral Road and Wainuioru Valley Read. Crushing was continued during the month at Gladstone* for construction wm'k on the Carterton-Gladstone highway.
