Following on the heels of the Bob Taylor and Barbara Stanwyck wedding, Leo Gorcey, oldest member of the "Dead End Kids,” and the tough one of the gang, eloped to Yuma, Arizona, with 18-year-old Katherine Marvis, young film dancer. Gorcey gave his age as 21. The young couple struck all sorts of trouble on the way to Yuma. First they took the wrong road to the airport and nearly missed the aeroplane. Then Gorcey parked his car in a forbidden zone and was almost arrested.
