MOTORIST GUILTY OF NEGLIGENCE. (By Telegrapn—nress Association.) NELSON, This Day. In the Supreme Court John Leonard Hall was found guilty of negligent driving and having caused the death of a cyclist. He was sentenced to two months’ imprisonment and disqualified from driving for five years. Mr Justice Northcroft said that there was nothing vicious in the case but like a great many motorists accused had driven irresponsibly without due regard to the rights of others.
