LOANS TO BRAZIL
POSITION TO BE EXAMINED.
ANNOUNCEMENT IN HOUSE OF COMMONS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.25 a.m.) RUGBY, July 18. Sir J. Simon stated in the House of Commons that on July 12, Brazil had informed Britain that it would welcome a representative from the British Council of Bondholders in order that the position of Brazilian loans issued in the United Kingdom might be examined by the Minister of Finance. It is understood that a similar invitation has been extended to French and American bondholders. The matter was receiving the consideration of the Council of Foreign Bondholders.
