At the wool.sales, 8,037 bales were offered, including 3,232 from New Zealand and 6,578 were sold. An average selection met with a spirited demand, especially for greasy crossbreds and greasy Merinos. Rates were generally well maintained. Slipes were frequently withdrawn owing to unsuitable lengths.
