MASTERTON STOCK SALE

PRICES SHOWING INCREASE. Bidding was brisk for a good yarding of fat sheep at the Masterton stock sale today. The attendance was good, taking account of the rough weather. Prices realised were slightly higher than those ruling last week. Some realisations were:—Fat ewes, 18s to 20s; fat wethers, 17s 6d; s.m. ewes. r.w. Southdown rams, Ils; maiden ewgs, 15s to 17s; 2-th, wethers, 18s 2d.
