NORTH V. SOUTH FOOTBALL (“Times-Age” Special.) The North v South match on Saturday was won by North by 11 points to 6. FOOTBALLER HONOURED PRESENTATION TO MR REYNOLDS Mr C. Parsons presided over a gathering of the Eketahuna Football Club on Saturday night, when the club’s late secretary, Mr O. G. Reynolds. who recently resigned as he had been transferred to Wellington, was the guest of honour. Several speeches were made eulogising Mr Reynolds's services to the club as secretary and player and in other capacities and he was presented with a set of pens and pencils in a case. A number of toasts were honoured and a most enjoyable time was spent. The arrangements for the social reflected the greatest credit on those concerned.
