TRADE TALKS UNEXPECTED AGREEMENT BY GERMANY. HOPE OF EETTER RELATIONS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON. July 16. Observers in Warsaw say that Germany has unexpectedly agreed to begin economic negotiations with Poland in August with the primary object of adjusting the Polish-German trade balance and placing the trade relations generally on a more satisfactory basis. It is hoped the negotiations will also beneficially affect the political relations. After keeping in the German banks £5 000.000 which was owed to Poland for exports of surplus foods, Germany has now paid up the debt almost fully. The German debt for transport across the Polish Corridor also is being paid satisfactorily. Diplomatic writers regal'd the moves as a good omen, despite the continued political tension.
