ACCORDING TO “REYNOLDS NEWS” AGAINST DICTATORSHIP OF FINANCE. RESTRICTIONS ON SOCIAL PROGRAMME. Sy Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrigh (Received This Day. 10.5 a.m.) LONDON. July 16. “Reynolds' News" in an editorial, says: "It is now admitted that the terms upon wnich New Zealand’s Socialist Government can raise the loan it needs in London involve either further restrictions of imports, to which the Federation of British Industries will object, or restrictions on New Zealand's social programme, to which the people of the Dominion will object. New Zealand's fight, in short, is against the dictatorship of finance."
"Reynolds News.” which incorporates the “Weekly Times" and “Echo,” is democratic and advocates the welfare of the industrial classes. It contains much strong writing, and is outspoken in its articles on political questions affecting the welfare of the people. The news and the literary departments of the paper are well conducted.
