OPEN TITLE. TIE FOR FIRST PLACE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. SYDNEY. July 15. The Lakes open golf championship today resulted in J. J. Bolger and N. von Nida tying for first place with 192. V. S. Richardson was third with 297.
Bolger won the Australian open champion in 1934, and Richardson was the Australian professional champion in 1933 and 1935. Von Nida, who recently toured 'New Zealand, and competed in the American open championship a few weeks ago, lias yet to win an Australian major open title.
