Mrs Roza Brown, aged 83, stood on the docks bidding farewell to a three months’ lamb she is sending as a present to the Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret Rose. The lamb bears a tag: “Royal lamb. I am your friend and want to play with you.” Mrs Brown travelled 300 miles with the lamb from Kirkland Fair.
