JUNIOR MINISTERS
CHANGES IN BRITAIN. WOMAN AS PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.30 a.m.) RUGBY, July 14. Following on the establishment of : Ministry of Supply there has been a reorganisation among junior Ministers bringing a woman M.P. into the Government. The appointment of Colonel L. Llewellin as Parliamentary secretary to the Ministry, at head of which is Mr E. L. Burgin, leaves a vacancy at the Admiralty, where Captain Hudson becomes Civil Lord. Mr Robert Bernals succeeds Mr R. S. Hudson as Parliamentary Secretary- to the Ministry of Transport and his place as Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Health is filled by Miss Florence Horsburgh (Conservative, Dundee), who has been a member of the British delegation to the League Assembly at Geneva on several occasions.
