GOLD MINING RETURNS. The Nemona dredge reports a return of 18 ounces from 10,600 cubic yards worked in 126 hours. The Mossy Creek dredge reports that there was no wash-up this week. Big River Gold Mines, Limited, has issued the following gold return for the month of June: —Battery department: 178 tons of ore crushed for 1960 z melted gold. Cyanide department: Not cleaned up. Total estimated value: £1430. In addition, 2J tons of concentrates was saved valued at £6B. In estimating the above values gold has been taken at 150 s a fine ounce.
