RETURNED SOLDIERS

BALL AT FEATHERSTON BRILLIANT GATHERING. MANY BEAUTIFUL DRESSES. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Returned Soldiers Ball, held in Anzac Hall last night, was a brilliant success. There was a very large attendance, visitors being present from various parts of the Wellington province. The stage decorations were most artically arranged by the Misses Tutbury, while decorations in the supper rooms, which had been arranged by Mrs Carlyon, were most attractive. The hostesses were Mesdames H. Lawson, D. H. S. Riddiford and Miss Card. ’ The M’s.C. were Messrs Hyland. L. Smith, S. Grant and Juno. The music was supplied by Udy’s and Te Tau’s orchestras. Supper was provided by the ladies’ committee, which was in charge of Mrs Chas. Rea.
