George Raft is once again the captivating adventurer of the seas, the role that won him laurels in "Souls at Sea." Henry Fonda, fresh from his triumphs in “Wings of the Morning and "Blockade,” plays the part of Raft’s devoted friend and reluctant enemy, and Dorothy Lamour, in her biggest dramatic role, will be seen as the' typical gallant woman of Alaska. Written by Barnett Willoughby, the story teems with action and romance in Alaska, where dangers are great, friendship strong, loves deep and hales more vicious, and fun more riotius than in many more populated centres. The salmon war and the breaking up of the ice form two of the spectacular highlights of this unique and amazing film.
