FOOTBALL CONTESTS ' BUNN KNOCKOUT CUP. (“Times-Age” Special.) The final for the Bunn Knockout Cup will be played between Pongaroa and Pukehin.au at Pongaroa next Saturday. This match will be a curtainraiser to a game between Masterton Old Boys and a combined Coast-Ponga-roa team. The following is the combined team: —Backs: G. Robbie, R. Finney, B. Spring, V. Thompson, F. Herbert, C. Bellshaw and Reiri. ForwardS: H. Maranui, B. Smith, J. Finney, V. O’Brien, G. Laing, G. Thompson, J. Harold and E. Lynch. Emergencies: B. Churchouse and B. Maranui. lan Hay was not available as he and R. Newland have been chosen to play in the Bush-Dannevirke Bebbington Shield match at Pahiatua. HOCKEY MATCH AKITIO VERSUS WAIRARAPA. The following team has been chosen by the sole selector, Mr Roy Scott, represent the Akitio ladies in theii match against Wairarapa at Masterton on Saturday:—Backs: Misses R. Meech, I. McLaren and E. Wallis; halves, Misses J. Veale, G. Harman and I. Barker; forwards, Misses N. Herbert, P. Moynihan, E. Moynihan, G. Yeoman and J. Kent. Emergencies: Misses M. Smith and M. Willoughby.
