SETTLED IN LYTTELTON. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The trawler dispute has been settled with an adjustment of working hours and both vessels put to sea this morning.
It was reported from Christchurch yesterday that the steam trawlers Phyllis and Cowan were idle at Lyttelton as a result of a dispute between the crews and the owners. The men are reported to be dissatisfied with an agreement recently made about pay and conditions, desiring in particular to have weekends in port.
