July 11Japan is protesting to Moscow against alleged oppression of oil and coal companies in North Sakhalin, which a Russian law court fined large sums, in default confiscation of their property, owing to their failure to supply workers with necessary goods, the transport of which, the Japanese allege, the Soviet hampered.
