MASTERTON STOCK SALE
IMPROVEMENT IN PRICES. With prices for fats showing an increase the Masterton stock sale today showed an all-round improvement on last week. Bidding was brisk and the good yarding of sheep met with keen competition. Prices realised were: — Fat wethers, 18s: fat ewes. 17s to 18s Id; b.f. ewes, 15s 6d; b.f. 2-ths.. 19s: fat Southdowns. 19s.
