Miss Kirsiy Cameron has arrived in Auckland from Masterton on holiday. Mr and Mrs D. James. Wangaehu. are visiting Wellington. Mr and Mrs T. Lowes. Rongomai, are staying at The Chateau Tongariro. Mr and Mi’s D. Cameron, Moeraki. Hinakura, are visiting the North Auckland district.

Mr and Mrs T. Husband. Hunterville, are staying with friencjls in the Wairarapa. The Misses Brown, Church Street Masterton, have returned from a visit to Raumati’Beach.

The. Misses E. ancf M. Langdon, Tinui. are spending a few days- at Paraparaumu Beach. Mr and .Mrs A. P. Bennett, Renall Street, Masterton, .have returned from a visit to Wellington. Mrs Marmaduke Bethell (Pahau Pastures, Amuri), president of the Hurunui provincial executive of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union, is visiting Wellington for the Women's Division conference. She will visit relatives in the Wairarapa before returning to Canterbury. Mrs M. Bovaird, Ormondville, celebrated her ninety-first birthday on Saturday. With her mother and sisters she landed at Wellington on Christmas Day about 66 years ago. For some time they conducted.a school in.the Hutt, one of their pupils,being the boy who afterward became Sir Alfred Ransom. Later Mrs Bovaird went to Waipukurau, where she was married to the late Mr J. Bovaird. She later moved to Ormondville, where she has since resided.
