WAIPOUA ODD FELLOWS

MONTHLY MEETING OF MEMBERS. Last evening the bi-monthly meeting of Waipoua Lodge of Oddfellows was held there being a large attendance of members. Delegates were appointed to represent the lodge at the meeting of the Wairarapa Hospital Association. After routine business had been completed the lodge welcomed the Wellington D.D.G.M. Bro Holding and District Officers and Grand Lodge Representative. Bro Churchill. P.G., to the meeting which afterwards adjourned. The visitors were entertained and the meeting concluded after a most instructive and enjoyable time havingbeen spent and certainly of the utmost benefit to Waipoua members. An apology for non-attendance was received from the Star of Carterton Lodge. The Grand Master of New Zealand also forwarded an apology for absence on account of being in attendance at the Clutha Lodge's sixtieth anniversary meeting.
