The “Daily Telegraph’s” Ankara correspondent today interviewed the Turkish President, General Inonu Kismet, who said that Britain has a most loyal ally in the Turkish people, who are sincere in their intention to can y out their obligations under the alliance. “The British and Turkish aims are identical, and in view of this it is essential that they should stand together,’* he said. “If Britain weie weakened in the Mediterranean, Turkey would suffer.” He hoped Bulgaria would be induced to join the Balkan Entente in the interest of peace.
