The “Evening Standard" says that Dr'Eckhardt, Leader of the Hungarian opposition party, stated that the German General Staff informed the Hun • garian General Staff that the German air force now has 34.000 machines. The Hungarians accept this figure, but point out that it contains many obsolete and training machines. Hungary believes that Germany possesses 100,000 pilots, many of them only part-trained.
