A neat trap was laid by the children at a Christchurch school where a traffic inspector was examining bicycles to ensure that all equipment was satisfactory. From a member of a group of children surrounding the inspector came the cjpestion. "What is wrong with, this bicycle. Mr Inspector?”
The inspector obliged by carefully pointing out the defects of the machine in question, whereupon shrieks of laughter accompanied by the cry of “That’s teacher’s!”
