ELDERLY WIDOW’S FATE
FOUND DROWNED IN CREEK. FAREWELL NOTE TO FAMILY.

The body of Mrs Emily Alberta Clouston, a widow, aged 67. was found in a creek alongside her home at Springlands yesterday morning. She had been in ill health for some time. She left a note saying: “It is the only thing to do,” and bidding her family goodbye.
