SUN HARNESSED
MOTOR WORKED BY LIGHT.
A huge motor worked by force captured from the rays of the sun is one of the greatest scientific novelties seen ■ at the Lille Exhibition of Social Pro - gress. The machine is said to be the first effective effort to harness the sun. and will, if economically possible, revolutionise industry throughout the world. The exhibition also showed the cornpietest television plant in existence, with a telecinema theatre where visitors watched all that was going on in different parts of the exhibition grounds and the immediate vicinity.
