CHAMPIONSHIPS AT WANGANUI. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WANGANUI, This Day. The Dominion Gun Club championships are being held in the Wanganui Club's grounds at Westmere. There are 67 competitors. The conditions are most unfavourable —heavy showers and boisterous weather. Results:— £lOO clay handicap, 21 birds: M. Pratt (Ororangi) and G. McMillan (Morrinsville). 21 birds, tied for first place and divided £75. The following shot 20 birds apiece and divided the third, fourth and fifth money: C. Wilson, J. Hivah, D. Missen, R. G. Farrow, j. R. Joy, L. G. Watkins and G. H. Cameron. The twenty-one yards’ championship, 15 birds, was won by F. Brightling, with L. Levion runner-up. L. Maher (Putahururu) off 18yds, and L. Bedford (Auckland) off 11yds, drew in the handicap for competitors first shooting 21 birds and divided the prize-money, £75.
