In the semi-finals of the Grand Challenge Cup for eights at the Henley Centennial Regatta, the Canadian Argonaut crew defeated Sydney by three lengths. Time, 7 minutes 35 seconds. Harvard University defeated Jesus College, Cambridge, by 2j lengths. Time, 7 minutes 21 seconds. DIAMOND SCULLS. (Independent Cable Service.) (Received This Day, 10.45 a.m.) LONDON, July 7. In the semi-finals of the Diamond Sculls. Burk (United States) defeated Ailhutt (Cambridge) easily. Time, 10 minutes 29 seconds. Verey (Poland) defeated R. Burnell (Oxford) by a length and a quarter. Tiirie, 9 minute:; 2 seconds.
