BUSINESS ON DOMINION EXCHANGES. DETAILS OF YESTERDAY'S SALES. The following sales were recorded on the Dominion Stock Exchanges yesterday; — Sale Price. WELLINGTON. £ s. d.

GOLD MINING RETURNS. The Grey River dredge reports a return of 194 ounces from 85,950 cubic yards worked in 130 hours. The Kanieri gold return for June was 12720 z from 269,000 yards dredged in 510 hours, equivalent to a recovery of 9.91 d a cubic yard. The Barry town gold return for June was 7620 z from 183,000 yards dredged in 388 hours, equivalent to a recovery oi 8.74 d a cubic yard. The Murchison Mataki Junction return for the week ended June 29 was 38oz smelted gold for 102 hours and 15,000 yards dredged, equivalent to a recovery of 5.319 d a cubic yard. Alexander Mines, Limited, has issued the following return for the month of June: —Battery department: 380 tons of ore crushed for 1360 z of melted gold. Cyanide- department: 232 tons of sands treated for 31oz bullion. Total estimated value: £1176. In addition: Nine tons of concentrates was saved, valued at £265. In estimating the above values, gold has been taken at 150 s a fine ounce. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, July 5. The Waitahu Mining Company reports a final wash-up in No. 18 paddock of 72 ounces for 21 shifts, making a total from the paddock of 209 ounces.
