RAINFALL FOR JUNE - ("Times-Age” Special.) Mr A. C. Gawith, “Waikoukou," Longbush, supplies the following rainfall figures for June: —Total, 2.53 inches, the only large fall being 1.14 inches on 13th. Rain fell on 13 days* The average June rainfall over the last 23 years was 3.96 inches, the lowest being 1.35 inches in 1926. In 1933 the June fall was 3.76 inches; in 1937, 5.33 inches; in 1927, 8.45 inches; and in 1935, 9.56 inches. The aggregate for the six months of 1939 is 8.51 inches, but the average aggregate for the previous 22 years was 18.56 inches.
